Freakish, psychedelic funk trax from the Cambridge-based box botherer for compadres Ramp Recordings. There’s enough here to send a sane raver to the edge, starting up nice and cool with the tropical lope of ‘Carnival Of Afro Souls’, but soon switching into spannered acid soca with ‘Court Dramatix’, spiralling with Ceephax-like madness in ‘Ruption Island’, and cutting into bonky boogie with ‘Staged Debauche’.
